Nintendo has just announced a free Mythical Pokémon distribution event for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and you won’t want to miss out on the opportunity of grabbing this creature. The Generation 9 title has been available for some weeks, and while there are some Legendary creatures in the Lumiose Pokédex in Legends: Z-A, there have been no Mythicals made available so far.
That, however, has just changed, as Nintendo announced a free Diancie distribution event for the Gen 9 title, as reported by Serebii. According to the information provided by the website, the Diancie distribution is part of a Mystery Gift, which can already be claimed. This special event will not only provide Trainers with Diancie itself, but the Mega Stone known as Diancite, which will allow it to become Mega Diancie.

Use The Mystery Gift Function & Complete A Side Quest
Based on the report, you’ll be able to claim this new Mega Evolution in Pokémon Legends: Z-A by completing two separate tasks. The first of them is using the Mystery Gift’s “Get Via Internet” function, which will reward players with the aforementioned Diancite. As you can imagine, you need a connection to the internet to claim this reward for free.
Once you obtain the Diancite Mega Stone, you’ll be given access to the Shine Bright Like A Gemstone Side Mission. The content of this Side Mission has not yet been revealed, but based on previous Side Missions, like the one to get Froakie in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, it shouldn’t take you too long to complete it. Completing the quest, which starts at the Looker Bureau, will result in a chance to catch Diancie.
