WATCH THE VIDEO HERE About eight people have been killed in a fresh attack on Mushere community, located in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State. According to reports, the attack reportedly occurred Tuesday night. Sources say the incident appears to be a fallout of Monday’s attack and kidnap attempt, which claimed the life of a pastor, as well as a separate attack on a Fulani settlement. According to a youth leader known simply as Dafang, “after the attack, the people of the area wanted to go and bury the victims when the assailants launched another attack, which got people scampering for cover.” He added that security operatives were contacted and subsequently mobilized to the area. When reached for comment, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Plateau State Command, Alfred Alabo, told the newspaper that “he is yet to get the details of the attack, but would get back with detailed facts.” However, he had not done so as of press time.
