The share price of the milk producer went down by 93 Kobo during the session to close at N43.00 per unit compared with last Friday’s value of N43.93 per unit. It overshadowed the 25 Kobo appreciation recorded by Geo-Fluids Plc. This stock closed the day at N2.78 per share, in contrast to the preceding trading day’s N2.53 per share. When trading activities ended for the day, the market capitalisation decreased by N750 million to N1.866 trillion from N1.867 trillion and the NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI) slumped by 1.28 points to 3,187.48 points from the previous session’s 3,188.76 points. The volume of transactions in the session significantly increased by 130.5 per cent to 888,775 units from the 385,519 units recorded in the previous trading day, the the value of trades soared by 53.2 per cent to N22.6 million from N14.8 million quoted on Friday, while the number of deals declined by 31.4 per cent to 24 deals from 35 deals. Impresit Bakolori Plc remained the most active stock by volume on a year-to-date basis with the sale of 536.9 million units worth N524.8 million, trailed by Geo-Fluids Plc with 267.1 million units valued at N472.3 million, and Okitipupa Plc with 153.6 million units sold for N4.9 billion. Also, Okitipupa Plc ended the session as the most traded stock by value on a year-to-date basis with a turnover of 153.6 million units valued at N4.9 billion, followed by FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc with 22.2 million units sold for N851.8 million, and Impresit Bakolori Plc with 536.9 million units worth N524.8 million.
