Nollywood actor, Shawn Faqua, and event planner, Sharon Ifunanya Maduekwe, have become the first couple in Nigeria to hold a wedding ceremony on a train.

Naijaonpoint reports that the celebrities who recently got engaged tied the knot aboard a moving Lagos–Ibadan train.

The intimate celebration was attended by close family members, friends and industry colleagues.

In the video shared by the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) via 𝕏, the couple transformed the train’s coaches into a stunning wedding venue, with floral arrangements, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and officiating ministers who conducted the ceremony while the train was in motion.

Celebrating the landmark event, NRC commended the couple for their creativity and uniqueness.
