According To Our Reporter, a former Olabisi Onabanjo University student, Akinjobi Kamal, has opened up on how cybercrime took him from campus luxury to street survival.
The ex “Yahoo Boy” said he once spent N7 million in a single night and watched friends splash N15–N20 million in Lagos clubs. Drawn in by cult groups and flashy seniors, he dropped out in 300 level to chase “G-business,” buying three cars, including two Mercedes-Benzes and a Lexus Jeep.
Social media pressure and nightclub debts later forced him to sell the Benzes, while debt collectors seized the Lexus. He also paid heavily to evade arrest. Today, Kamal works as a block-moulder in Lagos, admitting he lost his medical dreams, friends, family and future to a life of empty luxury. Watch full report
