The Federal Road Safety Corps has ordered the prosecution of popular Nigerian TikToker, Peller, following a car crash that recently circulated online.

Naijaonpoint reports that the incident happened on Sunday afternoon and was linked to a breakup between Peller and his girlfriend, Jarvis, who is also a content creator.

A video of the crash later appeared on social media, drawing gravy criticism from the public, with many Nigerians calling for sanctions, including the withdrawal of his driver’s licence.

On Monday, December 15, 2025, the FRSC reacted to the public outrage through a statement shared on its official social media page.

The road safety agency directed its Lagos State Command to take legal steps against the TikTok personality over the incident.

The Corps Marshal, Shehu Muhammed, also used the opportunity to caution stakeholders in the entertainment industry.

He called on groups such as the Actor Guild of Nigeria, content creators, and other entertainment bodies to properly guide their members and discourage unsafe conduct on public roads.

According to the FRSC, the Lagos command has been instructed to charge Peller for reckless driving, using a phone while driving, and driving without full attention, in line with existing traffic regulations.

The agency further warned that public recognition or popularity does not place anyone above the law and does not justify actions that put lives at risk on Nigerian roads.
