The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has redeployed several senior officers to new positions across its key commands and departments in a bid to improve operations.
Naijaonpoint reports that the redeployments take effect immediately, reflecting the corps’ focus on matching leadership roles with organizational needs.
Deputy Corps Marshal Pauline Olaye has been reassigned from the Special Duties and External Relations Department to the Department of Administration and Human Resources at the national headquarters.
Assistant Corps Marshal Godwin Omiko, previously the Corps Project Implementation Officer, now heads the Special Duties and External Relations Department.
Assistant Corps Marshal A. Sanusi, who led Manpower Development and Training, is now Zonal Commanding Officer at RS1HQ Kaduna.
ACM M.O. Olonisaye, formerly Corps Safety Engineering Officer, will command RS2HQ Lagos Zonal Command.
ACM A. Umar, who led RS1HQ, is set to attend the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
Further changes include ACM J.W. Toby and ACM E. Odiete swapping commands between RS5HQ Benin and RS11HQ Osogbo.
ACM Y.A. Haruna now oversees Federal Operations, while ACM A.K. Odeleye-Oladayo takes charge of RS8HQ Ilorin Zonal Command.
ACM C.M. Onukwubiri moves from RS8HQ Ilorin to the national headquarters as Corps Safety Engineering Officer.
At the Corps Commander level, CC F.A. Ogidan now manages Command Administration and Strategy.
In addition, AS Ibrahim and CC A.S. Ogungbemi have been posted as Sector Commanders in Adamawa and Plateau states.
CC S.E. Dawulung becomes Acting Corps Project Implementation Officer, and CC D.A. Bello heads Special Marshals at the national headquarters in Abuja.
The Corps Marshal instructed all officers involved to ensure smooth handovers and to assume their new roles immediately.
He noted that the redeployments aim to strengthen operations, improve service delivery, and ensure efficient coordination across all commands nationwide.
