Following the Supreme Court Judgment, the Rivers State Elders Council has called on Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Speaker Martin Amaewhule to put aside their differences and work together in the best interest of the state.

In a statement, the council’s chairman, Chief Ferdinand Alabraba, congratulated the people of Rivers State on the Supreme Court’s recent ruling on the state’s political crises. He commended the people’s resilience and peaceful disposition throughout the period.

The council urged the governor and speaker, who emerged from the same political family, to prioritize the state’s interests above personal considerations and take necessary steps in conformity with their constitutional responsibilities.
