A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tonye Cole, has said the suspended Governor, Sim Fubara, will find himself in a challenging situation after his reinstatement as  Rivers State Governor.

Naijaonpoint reports that Cole made the assertion on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Wednesday.

According to him, after the suspension is lifted, Fubara would not be able to make any decisions as Governor without interference.

He lamented that the godfatherism fight is not good for democracy.

He said, “Governor Fubara would be finding himself in a very difficult situation. The godfatherism fight is not good for democracy because the people tend to suffer a lot more. We don’t know what we are going to see tomorrow but one thing that we are sure about is that the Governor is not in a position to make any decision.

“What I will do if I were him is to sit with the FCT minister tell him to allow me take certain decisions as Governor and others to be taken by him. The truth is that we do not know the details of the peace agreement they had, so I can not speak on the extent of the limit of power he has now.”
