Osimhen has been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Al-Hilal, although Galatasaray want to keep him on a permanent contract.
Okocha, who spent two years in Turkey playing for Fenerbahçe, spoke about the love he got in his playing time in the country, and about the possibility of Osimhen staying with the Turkish Super Lig winners.
“I remember the fans and the food from my days at Fenerbahçe. I had a wonderful time there, but I could only stay for 2 years. Still, it was a great 2 years for my career,” the 1994 AFCON winner told TRT Spor in quotes revealed by En Haberler.

“Was Osimhen’s transfer to Galatasaray a surprise to you? Turkey is a great place to play and live football. Sometimes you may need to make sacrifices when making decisions in football.
“Osimhen had a great season at Galatasaray. Ultimately, he is happy there. Why shouldn’t he stay with the team? I love Turkey. He loves it too.
“I don’t know where he’ll be next season. Wherever he decides to go, I wish him the best,” the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder concluded.
Osimhen is yet to decide his next club, but it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up ahead of the 2025/2026 club season.
