The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will be a global product, it unlike Samsung’s recently announced foldable. This information is based on a model number that was spotted online.

The Samsung SM-S937B/DS model surfaced. The ‘B’ in its name suggests it’s a global variant of the device, while the ‘DS’ part indicates that it’s a dual SIM version of the phone.

With that being said, how do we know this is the Galaxy S25 Slim at all? Well, let me explain. The Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra have the SM-931x, SM-936x, and SM-938x model numbers, respectively.

Samsung would not use a model number in the same series for a non-Galaxy S25 device. So, this is a Galaxy S25 series device, and based on the new model number, and the number of Galaxy S25 Slim reports we’ve seen… it’s very likely this is the Galaxy S25 Slim, as it’s not the Galaxy S25 FE. The ‘Slim’ is the only model left, basically.

It will not launch alongside other Galaxy S25 smartphones, though

Do note that the Galaxy S25 Slim is not expected to arrive alongside other Galaxy S25 smartphones. The main Galaxy S25 series is tipped to launch on January 22 next year. The Galaxy S25 Slim will launch at a later date.

The ‘Slim’ model is also expected to have a better camera system than you’d think. We still don’t have the details, but it could have a better camera setup than the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+. One tipster even said it’ll have an ‘Ultra’ camera setup.

Even though this smartphone won’t be the most powerful in the series. It’ll be up there. Based on everything we’ve seen thus far, it could slot in between the Galaxy S25(+) and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
