In recent weeks, hardly a day has passed without a Samsung leak. From new foldables to watches and wireless earbuds, the tech giant’s upcoming products are making headlines even before their official announcements. Today, we have live photos of the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra courtesy of a regulatory agency. The latest leak also confirms the battery capacity of the new wearables.

Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra live photos leaked by TENAA

Chinese regulatory body TENAA recently certified Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. As usual, it posted a live photo of each wearable as [part of the certification listing on its official website. The photos are a bit blurry but confirm their rumored design. While the former is keeping the same design as the Galaxy Watch 6, Samsung’s first-ever Ultra watch looks substantially different.

It still has a circular display but the dial is squircle. The Galaxy Watch Ultra has a bulky body and features a physical rotating bezel. Samsung has made it a premium feature this year, removing the iconic bezel ring from the Galaxy Watch 7. Moreover, the Ultra gets an extra physical button, a circular button that may rotate. The company is pitching it against Apple’s Watch Ultra series and is throwing in everything.

The TENAA listed the cellular/LTE version of the Galaxy Watch Ultra (model number SM-L705). Its Bluetooth version is SM-L700. The listing reconfirms that the watch will pack a 590mAh battery. That’s the rated capacity, with rumors claiming a typical capacity of 600mAh. The watch may support 15W charging, though there are also hints of Samsung limiting it to 10W charging like the Galaxy Watch 6.

The same goes for the Galaxy Watch 7’s charging speed. As far as the battery capacity is concerned, the 40mm variant (SM-L300/SM-L305) is said to pack a 300mAh unit. The 44mm variant (SM-L310/SM-L315) may get a 425mAh battery. The TENAA listing mentions a 417mAh battery for the 44mm Galaxy Watch 7, which is its rated capacity. These battery capacities are unchanged from the 2023 models.

These watches are less than a week away

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra are less than a week away. The company will unveil the duo at its next Unpacked on July 10. It has already announced the much-improved 3nm chipset powering the watches. The Exynos W1000 has a faster CPU and is significantly more powerful. Samsung’s big launch event in Paris next week will also bring new foldables, wireless earbuds, and Samsung’s first-gen Galaxy Ring.
