The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition aka Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is coming, and its launch date just leaked. Do note that this is still not official information, so it could be inaccurate.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition could launch on October 25
The information does come from FNNews, a Korean publication. It claims that Samsung will announce this new foldable on October 25, which is only 9 days from now. That contradicts an earlier rumor saying that the device will launch on October 18.
This smartphone, based on reports, will not be made available globally, however. It will be limited to China and Korea, unfortunately. The device is rumored to be 4.9mm thick when unfolded, and 10.6mm thick when folded.
That is a massive improvement over the Galaxy Z Fold 6 which is 5.6mm thick when unfolded, and 12.1mm thick when folded. It is much closer to what the competition from China offers, actually.

We have exclusively revealed the design of this smartphone in early September, and two additional images followed recently. The phone will have a flat back, and a flat frame all around. It will also include a redesigned camera island on the back. Three cameras will still be placed back there, though.
The backplate on the model we shared looks like brushed aluminum, but chances are that’s glass with a special finish underneath. We’ll have to wait and see. A display camera hole will be placed on the cover display.
The main display on the device will measure 8 inches, while the cover panel will measure 6.5 inches in diagonal. Both of those will be flat, of course.
That’s basically everything we know about the device thus far. All that remains now is for Samsung to finally announce it.
