Gaming platform empowers farmer with N5m

Gaming platform BetKing has awarded N5m to Gabriel Orpin, a farmer from Benue State, for winning the virtual Christmas Jackpot, the company said in a statement Sunday.

Orpin, who grows rice, cassava, and yams, plans to use the prize money to purchase land, build a home for his family, and invest further in his farming operations.

“This win is truly life-changing,” Orpin said. “I’ll buy land, build a small house, and start a small business to ensure the money keeps working for me. I’m so grateful to BetKing for this opportunity.”

Orpin began his journey with BetKing in June, discovering virtual games. After a series of smaller wins, including N18,000 and N185,000, his persistence paid off with the jackpot win at Christmas.

“When I got the call about my win, I couldn’t believe it. But when BetKing explained everything, I knew it was real,” Orpin said.
