ADC chairmanship aspirant for Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Moses Paul, has sounded a strong warning over worsening insecurity in the nation’s capital, describing the situation as a disgrace.
In an interview with Trust TV, Paul lamented that young girls are being found dead on the roads with little or no response from authorities, saying the failure of emergency and security agencies shows a collapse of grassroots governance.
He stressed that with the Presidency, ministries and foreign missions located within AMAC, residents should enjoy the highest level of protection, not fear and neglect.
Paul argued that insecurity is now affecting businesses, movement and daily life across the council, insisting that AMAC urgently needs proactive leadership that will prioritise safety, accountability and the protection of human lives ahead of the 2026 elections.
