According to a tipster, the Vivo X Fold 3 will get a global variant next month, in June. Just to be clear, when he shared this info, he did not mention the device by name, but he did share an image of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.

The Vivo X Fold 3 (Pro) will become the first Vivo foldable to reach global markets

This could mean that only the ‘Pro’ model is coming, though chances are that both will launch. Either way, this will be the very first foldable(s) from the company that will make its way to global markets. The tipster did not share the exact date, though.

We knew that this was happening as a global variant did surface in a certification listing already. On top of that, an industry source confirmed as much. It’s time for Vivo’s foldables to be presented to audiences outside of China.

The Vivo X Fold 3 and HONOR Magic V2 are the world’s thinnest foldables

The Vivo X Fold 3 is technically the thinnest foldable in the world when unfolded. The HONOR Magic V2 is still thinner when folded, though. The difference on both ends is well under 1mm, it’s close to 0.1mm, so… yeah, both are immensely thin.

With that in mind, some new information about the Vivo X100 Ultra also surfaced. The phone’s camera details appeared, along with its display and battery details.

The Vivo X100 Ultra will have a very compelling camera setup

According to a report, the Vivo X100 Ultra will feature the Sony LYT-900 1-inch type sensor for its main camera. That is a 50-megapixel camera. A 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 unit will be used for an ultrawide camera. The third camera on the back will be a 200-megapixel camera from Samsung. The ISOCELL HP9 sensor was co-developed with Vivo.

That will allegedly be the largest sensor ever used for a periscope telephoto camera. Compared to the ISOCELL HP3, it improves light sensitivity by 12%, it is said. The lens will use fluorite glass, which is amongst the best low-dispersion glass materials out there. That same material is used in Sony’s new G Master lenses. ZEISS will also be a part of the package, of course.

The Vivo X100 Ultra will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and it will include a “2K” display made by Samsung. A 5,500mAh battery will also be a part of the package. 80W wired charging is also tipped, and fast wireless charging will also be on offer.
