GloRilla has spoken out after she was arrested on felony drug charges in Georgia.
According to the police report, officers responded to a burglary attempt but ended up discovering marijuana and a controlled substance in her home and called in the Lanier Regional Drug Task Force.
“It was reported that three suspects had entered the home and were in the process of stealing items when an armed occupant fired at the intruders,” the police statement reads. “The suspects fled the scene, and it does not appear that any of them were struck. No injuries were reported among the home’s occupants.”
She was not present, but while conducting their investigation, they say they discovered “a significant amount of marijuana” in the rapper’s bedroom closet. GloRilla turned herself in voluntarily and was charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Schedule I controlled substance before being released on a $22,260 bond.
She slammed the authorities in a statement.
“CRAZY. My House got Home Invaded Saturday. While I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA all star game & instead of Focusing on finding the Suspects, they focus on some cannabis,” she wrote on X. “1. So no I wasn’t busted. 2. My house got robbed. 3. I wasn’t home. Long story short my house gets home invaded and Im the only one that gets arrested. So that’s tea.”
