A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has slammed the Senator representing Edo North at the National Assembly, Adams Oshiomhole, over an attack on the former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.

Naijaonpoint recalls that Oshiomhole, during an interview on Channels Television’s “Politics Today” program, called Amaechi ‘the most terrible’ and accused him of mismanaging the rail system during his ministerial tenure.

Oshiomhole questioned why Amaechi had to construct a train track to the Niger Republic while his own State, Rivers, had none.

The former Governor of Edo State also faulted Amaechi for shutting down the Rivers judiciary because he wanted to make a biased appointment.

However, in a statement on Thursday, Eze warned Oshiomole to desist from attacking Amaechi and to focus on the gross incompetence of President Bola Tinubu, which had led the country to drift into the abyss.

He said, “Oshiomhole is one of those who, by their penchant, should be behind bars if the systems were working in Nigeria, but instead, he’s currently serving as one of the puppet Senators of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, just to evade prosecution.

“Amaechi speaks truth to power because he has no cockroach hidden in his cupboard.

“And so people like Oshiomhole should bury their heads in shame when the likes of Amaechi are making patriotic efforts to liberate the country.”

Speaking on why the judiciary was shut down during the Amaechi tenure, Eze said the former Governor’s action was due to the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike’s effort to use lawmakers to impeach a sitting Governor.

He added, “That was when his friend Wike wanted to use five lawmakers to impeach a sitting governor contrary to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Oshiomhole should go and hide his face for becoming the first National Chairman of a political party to be impeached by his ward for his ugly activities.”
