Social media users are divided following news of a Lagos court dismissing Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s lawsuit against colleague, Lizzy Anjorin.

Kemi Filani reported last year that Iyabo Ojo had filed a N1 billion defamation lawsuit against Lizzy over her social media allegations.

On Wednesday, a Lagos court dismissed the defamation suit.

One oluwatosyngrace wrote, “Nobody can tell me otherwise, that Lizzy na demon. Her juju is strong, but I know one day, nemesis will catch up with her

One qwinomoruyi wrote, “A win for Lizzy where she wan see 1billion like this?

One officersagacity wrote, “God has finally vindicated Lizzy. It is how people turn Iyabo to saint overnight that really amused me”.

Recall that for months, Iyabo and Lizzy stirred the internet by washing their dirty linen publicly. Iyabo had shared a video where she was mimicking and mocking Lizzy humorously. Lizzy, who was offended went on to reveal some intimate details about Iyabo, accusing her of promiscuity.

Following the allegation, Iyabo threatened legal action against Lizzy, demanding a public apology or risk paying N500 million for her libellous publication.

In March, last year, Iyabo filed a defamatory lawsuit against Lizzy; unfortunately, Lizzy failed to attend court during their first hearing. The court had later served her letters, which were pasted on her house gate.

In July, the judge presiding over their case had played a mediator between the two as he reconciled the actresses. Confirming it to the press, Iyabo stated that the judge gave both of them motherly advice to stop fighting and cursing each other on social media and embrace peace.
