Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has made his first public statement following his arrest.

Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday evening that The Lagos State Police Command arrested the singer for refusing to pay the debt he incurred when he purchased G-Wagon from a car dealer in the state.

It was gathered that Portable, during the purchase of the vehicle worth N27m, paid only N13m and had refused to pay the N14m balance on the pretext that the car was faulty.

The car dealer reported the matter to the police, who swung into action and arrested the singer.

Now speaking out, the singer, via his Instagram page, stated that God is bigger than everything. He added for anyone who believed in the saying to say Amen.

Portable went on to stress that God is over everything.

“God is bigger than everything. Amen if you believe so.

Portable declares God over everything following arrest

Recall that his 3rd babymama, Honey Berry shared a video of her mocking the singer as she noted how she asked him to send her son’s feeding allowance, and he refused. Now, tragedy has befallen him.

A few days back, Portable had called out his show promoter, Billyque, for allegedly ripping him. He claimed that his show promoter kidnapped him in Kenya and ripped him as he didn’t pay him money for his shows.

Portable made him know that greediness is destructive, as he claimed that Billyque is greedy.

To mark the New Year, Portable had upgraded his status, as he splashed millions on a brand-new Benz to reward himself for his hard work.

Sharing clips of his new whip, he noted how when one door closes, three more open for him. He revealed how he was given a discount for the purchase because of his celebrity status. According to him, the car was worth N60 million, but he was asked to pay N50m because he is a superstar.
