Oluremi Tinubu, CON, officially launched the Renewed Hope Initiative Project to Accelerate Birth Registration at Scale in Nigeria at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The launch event was organized by the Office of the First Lady, through its Renewed Hope Initiative, in partnership with UNICEF Nigeria and in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the National Population Commission, Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, NIMC, and Barnksforte Technologies Limited. The project aims to mobilize political commitment and leadership to accelerate birth registration as part of Nigeria’s Civil Registration and Vital Statistics system. The event featured the registration and presentation of commemorative birth certificates to six newborn babies, symbolizing the project’s goal of ensuring every child has a birth certificate. The Renewed Hope Initiative Project will provide free birth registration and certification for children aged 0-5 in Nigeria from August 29th, 2024, to December 31 st, 2024, marking a significant step towards ensuring every Nigerian child has a legal identity.The First Lady of has Launched Nigeria Birth Registration Renewed Hope Initiative
