The NDDC has started the placement and payment of 10,000 beneficiaries for the one-year Youth Internship Scheme, providing practical skills training in various organizations across the Niger Delta region.

With the selection process complete, beneficiaries are now being placed in organizations, and stipend payments have begun.

Selection Process & Transparency

Over 3.2 million youths applied for this program, demonstrating the high demand for skills development opportunities. The NDDC ensured fairness and transparency in selecting the most qualified candidates.

To improve governance, the NDDC partnered with KPMG, a leading consultancy firm, to enhance accountability and implement a transition from transaction-based operations to transformational policies.
