The Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has assured churches of his administration’s unwavering commitment to inclusive governance and continuous collaboration with religious bodies for peace, prosperity, and the development of the state.
Adeleke gave the assurance on Sunday during the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Fire for Fire Annual Anniversary held in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State.

Representing the governor at the event, the Chairman of the Governing Board, Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa, Hon. Abayomi Adegoke, congratulated the church leadership, including Prophet Kehinde Abayomi, his wife, the clergy, and the entire congregation, on the church’s milestone.
He emphasized that the anniversary celebration was not only about the number of years the church has been established but also about the milestones recorded and God’s faithfulness in the life of the church, as well as the manifestation of His exaltation.
The governor appreciated the vital role played by the church in teaching moral values through preaching and messages that shape and influence the minds of congregants.
Gov Adeleke noted that such roles contribute significantly to societal and community development.
On behalf of the governor, Hon. Adegoke prayed that the Almighty God would continue to strengthen the church, increase its impact, and bless it with greater testimony, expansion, and relevance in its work for God and service to humanity.
He also thanked the church for its steadfast prayers and support for the government and the people of Osun and requested continued prayers and support for the governor’s efforts to elevate Osun State in the comity of states in Nigeria.
In his remarks, the Church Chaplain, Prophet Kehinde Abayomi, commended the governor for his developmental strides across the state, describing him as a man of humility who is passionate about humanity.
He declared his support for the governor’s re-election bid and appreciated the governor for honoring the church’s invitation to the anniversary.
Prophet Kehinde Abayomi expressed optimism that the governor would emerge victorious in the upcoming election and noted that the church would continue to pray for his success.
