Governor Ademola Adeleke today received a rousing welcome from traders and technicians at the popular Ajegunle market and Igbonna market zone, Osogbo.
Enthusiastic residents and members of the market associations trooped out, shouting “ibo, ibo,ibo”
As the Governor alighted from the bus to greet them, the crowd went superbly excited, shouting ‘Imole leakansi, imole lekansi, imole lekansi”
Addressing the technicians and market men and women, Governor Adeleke tasked them to mobilise for voter registration and be prepared to exercise their voting rights.
“ Get out and mobilise for voters’ cards. Get your voter card. We must exercise our voting rights for good governance.
“Be prepared to strengthen support for Imole. Show them we own the streets”, the Governor noted.
Chairman of Ayegunle technicians association, Azeez Kamoruden accompanied by his teeming members assured the Governor of total support for his administration and in next year 2026 governorship elections.
“Welcome home, your Excellency. We are enjoying your government. We are with you totally.
“Our members spread across all local governments in Osun state. We remain totally in support of Imole”, the head of the group said amidst the screaming chorus of Imole imole.
The Governor proceeded from Ajegunle to be stopped by Igbonna market women who insisted he must disembark to address them.
The Governor, swarmed by traders, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the unplanned mass reception, promising to continue to serve the people with all his heart.
“I am for the people. I remain committed to the people. The people are my strength. I won’t stop serving because the welfare of the people is my main motive”, the Governor noted.
From Ajegunle to Igbonna, the Governor was accompanied by enthusiastic residents, market people and technicians.
