WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Naijaonpoint reports that the Governor of Bauchi State stated that the stakeholders meeting was convened to further smoothen relations among party leaders after the National Working Committee (NWC) crisis last week. Bala Mohammed made this known while delivering his opening remarks during the expanded meeting of the PDP-GF with the Board of Trustees,(BoT), National Working Committee (NWC) and former governors among others, late on Tuesday. Mohammed said, “This is a PDP meeting. It is not a governor’s meeting, it is not a caucus meeting but a meeting of PDP stakeholders. “It is a one-item agenda meeting. As you can see, we are all United today under the leadership of Amb. Umar Damagum, we are here to discuss issues that are gamine. “We will resist any attempt to make Nigeria a one-party state. We will use our experiences since 1999 to provide Nigerians with an alternative platform.” According to Vanguard, only five of the party’s 13 governors were at the meeting as at the time of filing this report. They were: Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Siminalaye Fubara (Rivers), Caleb Muftwan (Plateau) and Ademola Adeleke (Osun).The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum, (PDP-GF), Bala Mohammed, has disclosed that the only agenda of the party’s stakeholders meeting is reconciliation.
