The Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Radda, has been discharged from the hospital where he received medical attention following a recent motor accident on his way from Katsina to Daura.
Naijaonpoint reports that his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, confirmed the development in a statement released to journalists on Tuesday.
According to the statement, medical experts attending to the governor have declared him “completely fit” to resume his official responsibilities.
The statement reads, “The governor’s medical expert certified him completely fit to continue his official functions and resume full gubernatorial duties with immediate effect.”
Governor Radda is now expected to return to his desk and continue with the state’s governance activities without delay.
In an emotional note, the governor expressed deep appreciation for the outpouring of love, prayers, and solidarity messages from citizens, colleagues, and associates during his brief hospital stay.
“I am deeply touched by the overwhelming prayers and support from our people. This demonstration of love strengthens my commitment to serving Katsina State with renewed vigour and dedication,” he stated.
The statement also reiterated the governor’s unwavering focus on delivering his transformational agenda aimed at uplifting Katsina State’s socio-economic landscape.
