“Great things take time” – Basketmouth replies fans over his relationship status with TV host, Victoria

Nigerian comedian Basketmouth has responded to some of his fans who inquired about his relationship with his colleague, Victoria.

Kemi Filani reported an hour ago that Basketmouth, who made his movie debut with A Love Story, via his Instagram page, shared breathtaking photos of himself and his alleged lover and declared that they are the King and Queen of a new era of Nigerian films.

Taking to his comment section, a fan stated that she is waiting for him to use the right word for Victoria. “We are waiting for you to use the right word for her; till then, Basket.”

Replying to her, Basketmouth stated that great things take time. He wrote, “Great things take time”.

Another fan had stated that by the time they would release wedding photos, people wouldn’t know because they would they are clout chasing. “By the time una go release wedding pictures, we no go know.”

Basketmouth replied, “Such is life.”

Blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus noted how they look good in pictures as she questioned if there was something more about their relationship.

Basketmouth replied with, “Na Collabo”.

Early this year, an Instagram blogger had unveiled Victoria as the lady allegedly behind Basketmouth’s crashed marriage. According to the blogger, the two have been having an affair and are still going strong following his separation from his wife and the mother of his kids.

Kemi Filani dug further and noticed that in November of 2023, Basketmouth had publicly appreciated her, describing her as the most creative mind behind his projects. He appreciated her for all she did for him and his brand.

In September, Basketmouth had announced that he was beginning a new chapter of his life with the TV host. Sharing a loved-up photo of him and Miz Vick, he teased his fans and followers that he had a big announcement.

Following the news, media personality, Emma Ugolee took to his Instagram page to congratulate Basketmouth for finding happiness. He also gave a shout-out to Miz Vick for making him feel like a little boy. Emma stated that watching their chemistry is heartwarming as their artistic blend is lethal. He added that knowing the writers, producers, and actors, their story would be beautiful.

Also in September, Victoria had made a promise to Basketmouth as he celebrated his birthday. She prayed for the rest of his years to be the best, as she promised to be by his side.
