Gudaji Kazaure Visits Ex-Vice President Atiku, Discusses National Issues

A member of the House of Representatives, Gudaji Kazaure, paid a visit to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at his residence on Thursday night, in what was described as a constructive conversation focused on national issues.

Atiku, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, shared details of the meeting with his followers on social media, stating that they discussed several matters of national importance, underscoring their shared commitment to creating a better Nigeria.

“Last night, I had the pleasure of receiving Hon. Gudaji Kazaure at my residence. We had insightful discussions on matters of national importance and our shared commitment to a better Nigeria,” Atiku wrote in a post on his Facebook page.

Kazaure, who represents the Kazaure, Roni, Gwiwa, and Yankwashi Constituency of Jigawa State in the House of Representatives, has been an active member of the House, with his political influence extending beyond his constituency.

The meeting between Atiku and Kazaure takes place amid ongoing political realignment efforts aimed at challenging the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.

Atiku has been actively engaging with other opposition figures, including Peter Obi and Nasir El-Rufai, to form a coalition that would present a unified challenge to the APC-led government in the upcoming electoral cycle.
