Harry Potter Star Jessie Cave Barred From Fan Conventions Due To OnlyFans Account

A star known for their role in the Harry Potter franchise has been barred from a convention due to their OnlyFans account. Jessie Cave is best known for her role in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

She played Hogwarts student Lavender Brown, who was infatuated with Ron Weasley and delivered some of the funniest moments in Half-Blood Prince.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Cave didn’t get booked for a Harry Potter convention due to her affiliation with the site OnlyFans. Cave shared the disappointing news of missing out on the event on her Substack page:

“I found out that I didn’t get booked for a Harry Potter convention recently, as I’m now doing OnlyFans. They explained it was because it’s a ‘family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn.’

This was baffling to me as some actors who do conventions (most actors, actually) have done TV and films in which they’ve done sex scenes and nudity. I’m just playing with my hair!”

What Jessie Cave’s New Career Means For Her Future

6 months prior, in March, Cave set up her OnlyFans account with a promise to showcase “very sensual stuff” including hair play and sounds. OnlyFans is mainly associated with NSFW content, but Cave has insisted repeatedly that her content is not sexual, but mainly focused on fetishes.

Despite not getting invitations for any Harry Potter conventions, Cave’s not harboring resentment. Cave has insisted she is completely over her time in the Harry Potter franchise: “I am not upset about the prospect of no more Harry Potter conventions, plus, I have done conventions for over 15 years and have enough photos and wizard memorabilia.

Cave has stated she’s ready to pass the baton as a new series is set to take place on HBO with actress Sienna Moosah taking over as Lavender Brown.

Despite being snubbed, Cave is set to appear in The Thing with Feathers alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, which is scheduled for release in October.

Cave’s new venture isn’t anything out of the ordinary. Many influencers and actors have turned to OnlyFans due to its quick and easy way to earn money in between projects. Some use it as a way of expression and, in turn, have earned millions thanks to admiring fans.

Cave’s role in the Harry Potter franchise wasn’t major, but she certainly left an impact on young fans as they rooted for the endgame couple that is Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. It’s fair to say that Cave is ready to showcase self-love and is most definitely ready to move on from her time as Lavender Brown.
