Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, of allegedly arresting her family members.
In an Instagram live session with Daddy Freeze, she, alongside her sisters, addressed his recent arrest of her brother and close friend.
Daniels confirmed that Ned was the one behind the arrest of her brother. She claimed that the politician had accused her and her family of stealing 40,000 dollars from his house.
“No, it’s confirmed, it’s true, and it is Ned, and I’ve confirmed it, it is Ned. There’s a warrant on everybody; the same warrant is on my head. He’s saying that we stole 40,000 dollars from his house, whereas he doesn’t even keep money in the house, so why is he saying we stole 40k?”
The arrest occurred while Regina, her sisters, and others were live-streaming on Instagram. Her brother, Sammy, and a close friend were reportedly taken into custody during the live session.
Recall that in October, Regina ended things with him citing domestic violence as her reasons for leaving her marriage.
Ned, in a public statement, had attributed the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” According to Nwoko, his efforts to help his wife seek professional treatment are always resisted.
