Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has called out her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, for ostracising her from her kids.
On her Instagram page, she shared a heartbreaking video of herself on a video call with her sons, revealing that the last time she spoke to them was mid-November.
Daniels noted that people believe she is happy, but she cannot be at peace while separated from her children. The movie star said she chose not to allow that pain to define or imprison her, which is why it took time for her to walk away.
Regina called out Ned for constantly publicising her children to garner negative attention from their father. She pointed out the irony that someone of his status could be posting his kids at this time, knowing fully well it would attract media scrutiny.
Daniels claimed Ned has dismissed all her nannies, pressured them into making false statements accusing her of violence and alcohol abuse and has filed for full custody, despite already having the children in his care.
The mother of two questioned whether she is truly such a threat that she is being challenged so aggressively. She stated that she may be young, but she is such a Mom and enjoys being a mum.
“People may believe that I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children. I chose not to allow that pain to define or imprison me, which is why it took time for me to walk away.
The repeated public exposure of my children reflects a troubling and deliberate pursuit of negative attention by their father. It is implausible that a public figure, particularly one with legislative experience, would be unaware that posting our children publicly at this time would inevitably attract media scrutiny. These actions make it reasonable to question whether his behaviour is motivated by public engagement rather than parental responsibility. I decided to stay off the matter to avoid causing more nuisance in this media space, but clearly this man keeps acting like a baby. Meaning it’s now safe to call this one-term senator a content creator.

Recall that last month, Regina ended things with him citing domestic violence as her reasons for leaving her marriage.
Ned, in a public statement, had attributed the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” According to Nwoko, his efforts to help his wife seek professional treatment are always resisted.
In an interview with NAN, the politician explained that he wants Regina to go to rehab to be alive and healthy, not just for himself, but for their children.
