Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede is singing the praises of her son, Javier.
On her Instagram page, she revealed that her son told her he doesn’t want to be on social media and has stood by his words.
Calling him an old soul, Yvonne said he is too mature for her and is more than she expected and prayed for.
“This boy of mine is such an old soul. Since he told me last year “Mummy, I don’t want to be on social media”, he has stood on his word. Too mature for me, I must say, this child is more than I expected and prayed for.. I pray every woman looking for a child gets their blessing soon”.
Early this year, the mother of one had expressed grave and for her son as she pondered on how her life would have become if she hadn’t given birth before the marriage hit the rock.
Recall that Jegede met the son of late actress, Bukky Ajayi, on the set of Tade Ogidan’s popular drama series, ‘Behind the Siege”. After years of being together, the lovebirds tied the knot in a classy wedding ceremony in Lagos in February, 2018. Unfortunately the marriage didn’t last long as a year later, the couple split when Yvonne was still pregnant.
In an interview, Yvonne disclosed that her ex-husband is a deadbeat father who hasn’t shown any form of support or interest in the life of their son, Xavier. She recounted how Olakunle Fawole only showed up once to see the child after she gave him an ultimatum and how he doesn’t celebrate their son on his birthdays.
In a recent interview, she revealed that she walked out of her marriage because she was contributing more financially than her ex-husband. The movie star further expressed regrets over choosing love instead of money, and added that her ex-husband took every joke as disrespect because he was older than her, which worsen things.
