A former National Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Jacob Mark, has taken a swipe at the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, over his recent remarks on the opposition party.

Naijaonpoint reports that Wike had openly faulted some of the PDP’s internal decisions, further deepening disagreements among its leaders.

But speaking on Arise TV on Tuesday, Mark dismissed Wike’s interventions, insisting that the former Rivers State governor was no longer a member of the PDP.

Mark stressed that the minister has not been attending meetings or participating in the party’s activities, questioning his authority to comment on PDP matters.

He said, “We cannot verify which party he belongs to now. He is not a member of the PDP and has not attended any of its meetings. He is not involved in the party’s decision-making process.”

The former PDP legal adviser further accused Wike of imposing his views on others without contributing to the party’s structures.

Mark said, “He has not put up any argument or concern about the party, so we are surprised when we see him in the media talking about the party, especially on things that are alien to the party.

“I don’t understand how someone will be playing politics just by imposing decisions on people.”
