“He is still grieving and nobody can help him” – Wizkid’s associate calls for prayers for Wizkid as he cancels some of his major US tour dates

One of Grammy award winner Wizkid’s associates, Godson, has called for prayers for the singer after he cancelled some of his US tours.

Kemi Filani reported hours ago that the superstar had cancelled some of his concerts in major venues in the US for the Morayo tour. An official statement to clarify the situation has yet to be released, but many fans eagerly await further updates from his team on where to go from here and whether the concert will be rescheduled for a new date.

Reacting to the news, his associate called for prayers for him as he noted how Wizkid is still grieving the loss of his mother and has no one to help him.

“Add him to prayers personally, I think that nigga still grieving and nobody is helping him achieve this sad”.

The Grammy singer lost his mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun to the cold hands of death on Friday, August 18th. During his mother’s Night of Tribute, the singer, broke down as he gave an emotional speech at her funeral. He admitted that the pain is profound and it hurts deeply. According to him, it is the deepest pain he has ever felt in his life.

His mother was given a befitting burial which had in attendance several celebrities like Oba Elegushi, billionaire Tony Elumelu, Eniola Badmus, Osas Ighodaro, Kwam1, Wande Coal, Paul Okoye, Banky W, Pretty Mike, Mercy Eke, Kim Oprah, Layole Oyatagun, Morey Faith, Frank Edoho and more in attendance.

After her burial, Wizkid expressed heartbreak over her death, revealing that since she died, life has been meaningless to him. He noted how he made IDK, one of his songs, after his mother’s death because life to him is meaningless despite having 4 kids.

In another post, he stated that sometimes one has to let everything go and work with God.

Still grieving his mother, Wizkid expressed hope that someday he would feel himself again as he revealed that he has lost himself over the passing of his mother.

On his mother’s posthumous birthday last year, he ranted about his current emotions about celebrating her birthday without her presence. He expressed how he misses her daily and said his life had been empty without her presence.
