Nigerian singer Omawumi has opened up about her relationships with the late rapper, Dagrin and late producer, Dokta Frabz.

Speaking in a recent interview with Jay On Air, Omawumi stated that she had a cordial relationship with Dagrin and they often hung out when he was alive.

She clarified that her relationship with the late rapper was platonic.

Recall that there were rumours that Omawumi and Dagrin were dating after the release of their collaborative hit ‘Thank God’ in 2009.

The singer, however, admitted that she dated the late producer Dokta Frabz.

She explained that she was drawn to Dokta Frabz because of his love for music.

Omawunmi stated that the late producer was incredibly talented and would often look into her eyes while he sang.

According to her, “Dagrin was my guy, we used to hang out together. He was a fantastic person.

“I was drawn to Dokta Frabz because he such a lover of music. He was incredibly talented. He would look into my eyes while singing and I would be cheering.

“And because of that, I was always around him -in his studio. I met most of the music industry figures through Dokta Frabz. We actually dated.”

Dagrin died in an auto crash in April 2010, while Dokta Frabz passed away in 2021.
