Here's your first look at the HONOR 300 handset

The HONOR 300 is coming, that much we know. The phone’s specifications surfaced recently, and now we get to take a first look at the HONOR 300 design. The phone appeared in several images online.

Here’s your very first look at the HONOR 300 smartphone

You can check out its design yourself via the gallery below. The phone will come with a new rear camera island shape. Just to be clear, we’re not sure if this is the HONOR 300 or HONOR 300 Pro, but it seems to be the former.

In the provided gallery, you’ll see both a render and real-life images of the device. Three cameras seem to be placed on the back of the phone, one of which is a periscope telephoto one. That more or less confirms that we’ll get main, ultrawide, and periscope telephoto cameras here.

The power/lock and volume up and down buttons sit on the right-hand side of the phone. The back side of the device seems to curve towards the edges, while the camera shape sure is interesting.

The camera island does look a bit odd, but different

The cameras themselves are vertically aligned, more or less, while the camera island does not have a specific shape. Its left side has a longer straight line than the rest, while the corners are not sharp at all. The camera island does protrude on the back, though.

Thanks to these images, we do know that black and purple models are coming. More color options will likely be available, though. The purple model even has a purple frame, which is interesting.

Now, two tipsters have shared the HONOR 300 specs thus far, as it seems HONOR will make use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Up to 24GB of RAM will be on offer, at least in China, while a 1.5K micro quad curved display was also mentioned.

A periscope telephoto camera will be a part of the package

A 50-megapixel main camera was tipped, along with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The third camera is said to be a 50-megapixel unit too, but no specific info was shared.

The HONOR 200 series launched in May, while the HONOR 100 series arrived in November last year. By that timeline, the HONOR 300 series is expected to arrive by the end of this month, or next month at the latest.
