Hideo Kojima has revealed the cast, first visuals, and other basic details of his upcoming stealth-action game Physint. Set to be a PlayStation exclusive, Physint is a spiritual successor to the Metal Gear series, and Kojima’s second upcoming game — it’s due to be released after OD, the horror multimedia project he’s currently developing with director Jordan Peele.
During a tenth anniversary event for Kojima’s studio, Kojima Productions, he revealed the cast of Physint, along with the first poster from the game and a development update (via IGN). The cast will include Charlee Fraser, Don Lee (AKA Ma Dong-seok), and Minami Hamabe, although we don’t know exactly whom they’re playing (or much of anything about the story, for that matter).

Who’s Who In Kojima’s Next Stealth Game
Three actors have thus far been confirmed in unknown roles for Hideo Kojima’s Physint, appearing in video messages at the Kojima Productions tenth anniversary celebration to express their excitement. The first is Charlee Fraser, perhaps best known for her role as Furiosa’s mother Mary Jabassa in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Physint is set to be her first video game role.
Also announcing his appearance in Physint today is Don Lee, also known as Ma Dong-seok. A prolific actor, he’s appeared in many South Korean blockbusters, including Train to Busan, The Outlaws, and its spinoff film series The Roundup. He also appeared as Gilgamesh in the MCU movie Eternals.
Finally, Minami Hamabe has also confirmed that she’ll be appearing in Physint, with Kojima showing off a tech demo of her CGI likeness to build excitement for the game’s advanced visuals. She’s best known in the West for her role as Noriko Ōishi in Godzilla Minus One (and, given that ending, most likely its sequel). She’s also appeared in Shin Kamen Rider and lent her voice to Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken and Detective Conan.
This continues Kojima’s habit of working with actors he respects from projects he’s enjoyed. He’s often professed his love for the Mad Max series, even including creator George Miller’s likeness in Death Stranding 2. Similarly, he’s been a longtime fan of Godzilla, giving Minus One — as well as Eternals — a positive review on X (formerly Twitter).

Kojima also shared the first visuals for Physint during the tenth anniversary event — ...er seen above, via his English-language X account. Although ...er doesn’t give us much to go on, it does reveal the game’s tagline “Here comes the feeling,” along with a potential dark, urban setting — note the skyscrapers in the background.
He also gave us a peek at the development timeline of both Physint and OD, although neither game has a release window as of yet. We do know, however, that OD will be released first, with Physint to come after, likely within the next five or six years.
To that end, OD looks to be a lot further along in development, with a full trailer revealed during the anniversary event. Physint, Kojima says, is still in the very early days of development. He’s still working on the basic concepts underpinning the game, but promises advanced graphics technology and a Metal Gear-inspired concept. We’ll keep an eye out for more major Physint announcements as the development cycle proceeds.
