HMD Vibe Pro & Atlas 5G allegedly coming to the US, here are the specs

Earlier in May, HMD launched the HMD Vibe smartphone in the US. Now, the company is planning to launch a couple of more budget phones in the country soon. According to information from tipster smashx_60, the brand now plans to launch the HMD Vibe Pro and Atlas 5G (codename) in the US soon. In addition, the tipster has also shared a render of the HMD Vibe Pro.

HMD Vibe Pro is coming to the US soon with these specs

According to the source, the HMD Vibe Pro is launching in the US soon. It will only be a slightly upgraded variant of the HMD Vibe. It will have the same design language, but one of the color variants will be Green Algae. The HMD Vibe Pro could offer a higher full HD+ resolution. However, the screen size will be the same 6.56-inch and offer a 90Hz refresh rate.

The Vibe Pro will have the same Snapdragon 680 processor, paired with a higher 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone will offer some improvements in the camera department. It will ditch the standard vibe’s camera setup and go for a higher-resolution main shooter. The source claims it will have a 50MP primary camera paired with a 2MP secondary sensor.

Furthermore, the source suggests that the HMD Vibe Pro for the US could get a larger 5,000mAh battery. The connectivity options will stay the same including BT 5.0, NFC, 4G LTE, and USB-C. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor will complete the list of specs. Lastly, the HMD Vibe Pro is said to cost $180 in the US.

In addition, HMD will introduce a new Green colorway for the original Vibe soon. It is currently only available in Charcoal.

HMD Atlas 5G is also heading to the States

Furthermore, the source claims that HMD Atlas 5G will also be launching in the US soon. It will cost just $219, which is a good price for the US market. As of now, there’s no word regarding the exact launch date. However, it is safe to assume a launch by the end of the year.

Notably, the HMD Atlas 5G’s complete specs had already leaked earlier. It will offer a 6.64-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution. Besides, it will have a high screen refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone will have a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM.

In the camera department, the HMD Atlas will offer a 48MP primary camera. The main sensor will be paired with a 5MP secondary shooter and a 2MP third lens. For selfies, there will be a 16MP lens on the front. A 5,470mAh battery, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G, OZO Audio, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor will complete its specs.
