Music star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has recounted how a certain producer and writer, who he started working with from his Timeless Album, finally got his publishing check and came to his house to hand him $20,000, and appreciated him.

Davido expressed how happy he was to see there are still good people in the world, as he noted how being appreciated feels good.

“A certain producer/writer I started working with from Timeless. Finally, he got his publishing check, came to my house, handed me 20 thousand dollars, and said Baba, I thank you. Happy to see there are still good people in this world! Being appreciated sure feels good! Love you, brother!”.

Davido recounts encounter with Timeless producer and writer

A week back, veteran actor and media personality Patrick Doyle sang the praises of Davido. He noted how Davido has been under relentless attacks from his colleagues, yet, he has maintained a calm disposition and a reluctance to engage his adversaries. He stated that he finds such behavior condemnable, and he imagines it was an inherited trait from his father. The ex-husband of Ireti Doyle noted how Davido humbly redirected his steps when he was erred and corrected by elders. He added that the more Davido is being attacked, the more he ignores them, which makes his stature as a global star shine.

Similarly, Shan George had given three reasons why she is a die-hard fan of Davido. She made it known that nothing can change her love for the singer as she recounted the two times she met him.

In other news, Davido in a foreign interview, had issued a stern warning to black Americans against relocating to Africa, letting them know that it wasn’t cool in Africa as the economy was in shambles. Davido, however, made it known that he wasn’t badmouthing Africa; rather, he aimed to show off the little parts and leave the slums out of the frame.

His statement didn’t sit well with many like Reno Omokri, Patrick Doyle, Akashat Nymat, and others who criticized him for it.
