“How a resident in my estate helped my maid abscond after she stole $10,000 and more from me” – Sarah Martins reveals, shares CCTV footage (Video)

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has accused a resident in her estate of helping her housemaid abscond after stealing her money and other items.

In a now-deleted post on her Instagram page, Sarah shared a video of the estate resident as they watched the CCTV footage of him helping the housemaid abscond. Sarah said the estate resident gave his access card to her house girl who ran away with her belongings along with $10,000.

The Asaba actress said they had to go to the estate control room to check the CCTV footage, and that’s how they saw how he helped her escape. Now, the housemaid is nowhere to be found.

Sarah questioned if she should hold the man accountable as she noted how he was a married man and had been friends with her maid for help.

“This my estate resident used his access card to give access to my house girl who ran away this morning with my belongings along with my $10,000 cash.

We had to go to the estate control room to check the CCTV footage and that’s how we saw how he helped her escape.
The girl is nowhere to be found. Should I hold this man accountable for all the damages?

Mind you, he’s a married man, and my staff just confirmed to me that he’s been friends with my help for a long. I want to use him as a scapegoat so the next time he sees people’s house girls, he will stay away from them and focus on his wife and family”.

Sarah isn’t the only one who has gotten robbed by their staff. Last year, in December, Alesh Sanni had called out his cleaner for allegedly carting away his money worth N3.2 million and valuables like gold jewelry. Questioning why people were heartless, he recounted how he helped the cleaner, without judging his looks, sheltered and clothed him, yet he paid him back by stealing his money.

Ruth Kadiri had almost lost her Range Rover Autobiography to one of her workers, who stole it. Luckily for her, she was able to recover it with the help of some known persons. Ruth narrated the incident that led to the car being stolen and how she was able to recover it.

Veteran actress, Carol King narrated how one of her maids absconded with her $700 and €40. She recounted how she became suspicious when the maid failed to resume after the weekend and this prompted her to search her house, only to discover that a lot of her possessions had been stolen. Calling the attention of the public, she alerted them to be wary of her to avoid being her next victim.

Popular fashion designer, Tolu Bally had also fallen victim to her chef, who carted away her jewelry and other valuables. The celebrity designer revealed that she was left heartbroken after she returned from church to an empty room. She claimed the chef broke into her room and closet and took all her jewelry and some other valuables.

To add to it, MC Oluomo’s ex-girlfriend, Ehi Ogbebor had exposed one of her maids for allegedly hacking her safe and carting away $11k. In a series of posts on her Instagram page, she narrated how the maid stole her money, which was about N8 million.
