American singer, Beyoncé Knowles’ unreleased songs and other confidential items were stolen from a parked car in Atlanta on Tuesday, July 8.

Naijaonpoint reports that the incident happened just two days before her Cowboy Carter tour began in the city.

BBC reports that the items were taken from a rental vehicle used by her choreographer and a dancer while they stopped at a nearby food hall.

The stolen items included hard drives containing unreleased music, previous and future tour set lists, and show plans.

According to the police report, the car’s rear window was smashed, and two suitcases holding these materials were taken.

Personal items like a laptop, designer outfits, and Apple AirPods were also stolen.

Atlanta police confirmed that fingerprints were found on the vehicle, and an arrest warrant has been issued.

However, the suspect’s name has not been made public, and it remains unknown if any of the missing items have been recovered.

Beyoncé has not made any public comment about the theft.

She is known for taking strong steps to protect her unreleased work, especially after past leaks from earlier albums.

Since 2013, she has used secretive methods to release her projects, including code names and surprise album drops.

Her latest album, Cowboy Carter, was announced during the 2024 Super Bowl and released shortly after.

Beyoncé has been performing in Atlanta since July 10, with her final show in the city scheduled for Monday.

During one of the performances, her husband Jay Z made a surprise appearance.
