Nollywood actress Temitope Aruga has expressed her feelings for her senior colleague, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
In an interview with Biola Bayo, she revealed that the veteran used to be her crush after his appearance in the movie Owo Blow.
Temitope also spoke on her relocation to America, noting how people thought she was pregnant and would have her baby in the country. Temitope said she cried and wondered if she had made the right decision relocating overseas, as she had to start all over again.
She said before relocating, she told Lateef Adedimeji, who was her close friend at that time, of her plans, and he prayed for her and told her to go.
“Ogogo used to be my crush. That was the time of the Owo Blow.
I experienced some attacks when I moved to America.
People thought I was pregnant when I relocated, and I was going to have my child in America. I would cry and wonder if I made the right decision, because I wanted to go start all over.
I called Lateef Adedimeji because then we were very close, he said go and prosper and prayed for me because he was in Mecca then. I was crying because I am a teary person.
I love my career not because I want to be famous or well known, if acting happened to be like doctor, I would still love it.
You guys have been asking me to come back, and I am back. I don’t know how to do it, but I will just keep doing it. When I produce my movie, please watch it with love. Please, for God’s sake, I don’t know how to dance. “
Recall that in 2023, many had expressed concern for her as she withdrew from the spotlight. The Yoruba actress later returned to social media after four months with an appreciation post to her fans, followers and colleagues, appreciating those who checked up on her. She revealed that she had to take a well needed break.
Following her return, Temitope had shared a cryptic post about tears. She stated that the prettiest eyes have cried the most. However, she was grateful that she didn’t look like what she had been through.
