Nollywood actress, Grace Charis Bassey, has shared how she received her American passport in 2025 by saying a word of prayer.

Formerly known as Belinda Effah, Bassey, who is now a sailor with the US Navy, recalled a moment in 2024 while filming a movie.

Naijaonpoint reports that the director, Gengraved_Arts, had just received his passport, and she was pictured holding it.

Rather than just admiring it, she prayed over it and declared that she would be next, and after that, she got the passport.

Grace urged her followers to always celebrate other people’s success instead of feeling jealous.

She wrote: “I Collected The passport and after praying for him, I sharply Tapped From The Blessings That I Am The next Recipient. Boom 2025, I Received Mine. Simple Words To God Go A Long Way. I saw something good and I tapped into it.

“When you see something good, learn to speak and if it’s something that aligns with you, also receive it for yourself. Don’t be one who hates because that way you will never receive. Celebrate others success and never fail to write it down either by confessing it or physically writing it down.”

This testimony comes after the actress made headlines in May for completing U.S. Navy boot camp and officially becoming a U.S. citizen.

The 35-year-old Cross River-born star dedicated the achievement to her late father, Naval Commander Asido Bassey Effah of the Nigerian Navy.

She changed her name from Belinda to Grace-Charis Bassey in 2021 following a divine encounter.
