Cristiano Ronaldo has once again proven his unparalleled global appeal, this time in the digital arena, Soccernet.football reports.

The Portuguese superstar, already a dominant figure in the world of football, has shattered yet another record — this time on YouTube.

Ronaldo launched his official YouTube channel, “UR Cristiano,” on Wednesday, and within just 90 minutes, he amassed over one million subscribers, making it the fastest-growing channel to ever hit that milestone.

Ronaldo, 39, shared his excitement on social media, posting a picture on his Twitter account (@cristiano) where he proudly held his gold YouTube plaque, flanked by his wife and children. His caption read, “A present for my family. Thank you to all the SUUUbscribers!”

Since its launch, the channel has continued to grow rapidly, surpassing 33 million subscribers. Ronaldo has already uploaded 12 videos, racking up an impressive 130.3 million views.

These videos, each about two minutes long, offer fans glimpses into his life, including a popular Q&A video with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, which has nearly 30 million views alone.

Although official earnings from the channel have not been disclosed, estimates suggest that Ronaldo could be earning substantial amounts from his YouTube content.

According to Influencer MarketingHub, YouTubers make an average of $0.018 per ad view, meaning Ronaldo could potentially have already earned around $2.3 million from his new venture.

As Ronaldo continues to expand his brand off the pitch, comparisons with YouTube giants like Mr. Beast, who boasts over 330 million subscribers, are already being drawn.
