However, she kept to her words of sticking by her side through it all. Bisola said her mother had told her that she would help her take care of her daughter so she could return to work and face her career, and she kept to her words. The reality star stated that, to date, her mother still helps her out in raising her daughter. The interviewer asked: Tell me about a moment in your life when somebody nudged you in the right direction, and it led to a life-changing part for you. Bisola responded: I have had several instances, I will say one I was nudged by my mum. When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, she got really emotional and sad at first, but she said something to me and stood by that word. She told me, ‘Don’t worry, have the baby. When you have the baby, I will look after her, so you can go back to work or whatever it is you want to do. To this day, my mother still helps out with my daughter”. Last year, in an interview with Maria Chike, Bisola opened up on the judgment she received for her strict parenting skills. She revealed that people felt she was being overprotective by not allowing her daughter to use a phone until she was 16. Aiyeola recalled an incident when she caught her daughter opening a smart chat account and had to discipline her. In 2022, Bisola opened up on the challenges of being a single mother and how her wedding didn’t hold after the marriage proposal. She said nursing her baby was a huge challenge as she fed her with garri and used her mom’s old scarves, gentle, iro and Buba, as diapers. That same year, Bisola had recounted her pre-fame life, revealing how she had to depend on her neighbours for her to feed. When her daughter turned 13, Bisola had penned a heartwarming note to her, recounting how she birthed her in 2008, 13 years ago. Bisola described her daughter as an amazing human who inspires and makes her work hard. The comic actress rejoiced over how she was the mother of a teenager.
