Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has made a wild claim against clergyman, Pastor Chris Okafor.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, she alleged that the pastor gave her $10000 to retract her statements. According to her, the money was given to her after several conversations, and she decided to keep it briefly so that she could publicly display it as proof that money had exchanged hands.
She insisted that the cash wasn’t a transaction, a bribe, or a payment for any form of compromise. Doris further alleged that she was asked to retract some of her earlier statements and place the blame on certain pastors, a request she said she refused. She maintained that collecting the money didn’t change her position and that she was not lying about any of the claims she had made so far.
Ogala also used the video to deny allegations of drug use, stating that she only smokes cigarettes and challenged authorities to clarify claims about items allegedly found in her home. She emphasised that the money held no financial significance for her and that her decision to disclose it publicly was intended to support her claims, not for blackmail or personal gain.
In another video, she demanded the clergyman compensate her with $50,00, put her on the monthly payroll, and give her lifetime shares in his company as compensation for not marrying her and for sharing her núde videos with friends and lawyers.
Since gaining widespread attention, Pastor Jerry has topped headlines and broken records. Early this month,
Last year, Jerry Eze emerged as Nigeria’s highest-earning YouTube creator, amassing over N7 billion through his prayer meetings, which he streams live mainly from the platform.
This is just another of Pastor Eze’s numerous achievements since entering the Ministry.
In 2022, the celebrity pastor shut down London as 70,000 people gathered to worship God with him at the Excel Arena in London.
Reacting to it, Alex Ekubo stated that this was a testament that God remains the greatest, and praised the clergyman for allowing God to use him.
Tonto Dikeh had also expressed pride in him, noting how his groundbreaking achievement manifested God’s calling on him. Praising him, she stated that this was what he had been called to, which is to raise lives and souls for the kingdom.
Actress Ini Edo, who is also a fan of his, had described the pastor as the prophet of our time as she stormed his church for New Year prayers in 2023. Ini Edo compared the clergyman to the biblical Elijah for being a blessing to his generation.
Ghanaian Bishop Sam Owusu had berated Ghanaians for attending Jerry Eze’s crusade, which had over 60,000 people in their country. Not pleased, Sam Owusu slammed Ghanaians for worshipping Nigeria’s pastors while neglecting their own. He noted how Ghanaians have anointed men of God, yet their people prefer their Nigerian counterparts.
