Nollywood actor Jamiu Azeez has tendered a public apology to his senior colleague, Opeyemi Aiyeola.
On his Instagram page, he described Opeyemi as his sister, mother, confidant, benefactor, and more. He stated that, with tears and regret, he is openly apologising to her for his misdeeds.
Azeez noted that he couldn’t write his story without her name boldly written on it, and he acknowledged how he had hurt her deeply, causing a cut that was so deep.
Begging for forgiveness, he admitted that he had acted childishly and, as such, apologised to her.
“My confidant, my benefactor, ejika mi, alaanu mi, aunty mi, ore mi. With tears and regrets, I am openly putting this out to apologise for my misdeeds. I can never write my story without your name boldly written; in fact, your name will appear on every page of my story. I know you love me so much; I know I hurt you deeply, and the cut was so deep.
