Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has responded to rumours of her arrest in Abuja.

In a TikTok live session, she laid curses on the rumour peddlers, noting how their fake news always makes her fans worried, causing them to start calling to check on her.

The controversial actress noted that people often mention her name to drive traffic to their pages and generate revenue. Further heaping curses on them, she made them know she is a special being.

“To you all rumour mongers that spread fake news about me, it shall not be well with you. Who did they arrest? Your fake news always makes my fans worried, and they will start calling to check on me. You love to mention my name in order to pull traffic on your page and make money. You are heaping curs£s on your head because I am a special being. Anyone who wishes me bad, it will go back to the sender”.

In May, the controversial actress confirmed reports that she was invited by EFCC for questioning over the spraying of money at her daughter’s wedding. Ojo said she explained that she thought only abuse or mutilation of the Naira was an offence, and the commission enlightened her.

In July, some men had taken to the streets of Lagos, chanting “E no go better for Iyabo Ojo” in response to Mohbad’s incident.

Addressing them, in an Instagram post, Iyabo said she never affirmed that Mohbad’s death was caused by any specific individual. Iyabo noted how certain individuals have, over the years, consistently called for her death, the destruction of her source of livelihood and have engaged in public violence against her and her children without any intervention from the authorities.

That same month, Iyabo’s office building had caught fire. Sharing a video of the incident, she expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for salvaging what was left. She also thanked her creator, as no lives were lost. Iyabo noted how the devil tested them, but God said no.

Last month, Iyabo shared a video of the newly renovated office as she expressed gratitude to her Maker.
