Speaking during an interview today, the two-term governor and prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stated that he possesses the capacity to hold the nation’s highest political office. Makinde also stated that the 2027 general elections would not be a contest between the PDP and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), but rather a choice between Nigerians and the APC.
