“I am feeling honoured” – BBNaija Bambam beams with pride over her double achievement at AMVCA Cultural Day

Big Brother Naija’s former housemate and actress Bamike Olawunmi Adenibuyan, better known as Bambam, has expressed joy at her double achievement at the just concluded AMVCA Cultural Day.

Kemi Filani reported on Friday, May 9th, that the 11th edition of AMVCA cultural day was held, with many celebrities in attendance.

Taking to her Instagram page, Bambam expressed how honoured she was to have made her first hosting debut for Onga at the cultural day event. She also expressed joy at being nominated for Best Dressed Female, which unfortunately didn’t win.

Speaking on the event, Bambam stated that it was a beautiful celebration of Africa as every trībe, culture and tradition were proudly on display. The wife of Teddy A revealed that she represented the rich heritage of Ghana with her look.

“It’s a wrap! Honoured to have hosted Onga at the AMVCA Cultural Day, it was a beautiful celebration of Africa! Every trībe, culture, and tradition was proudly on display. Yours truly represented the rich heritage of Ghana with this stunning look. I was even nominated for best dressed.

The reality star penned a heartfelt note to Omoni Oboli. She appreciated the filmmaker for seeing her and taking a chance on her talent by giving her a platform as an actor. Bambam noted God’s favour, passion, support, relentless pursuit of excellence, and passion for them where they are. She expressed how much she loved and admired her.

Last year, Teddy A’s wife gave an insight into her childhood. She revealed that she grew up with strict parents, as her father thought she would end up a ‘Vagabond’ because of her personality. The reality star said she left the house and searched for a platform to showcase her talent, so she went into Big Brother’s house.

In a past interview, the mother of two revealed how her parents weren’t supportive of her acting career. She stated that her parents felt she was stup!d, but they later changed their minds when she participated in BBN and started succeeding.

Recently, Bambam won the praise of many after saving a suicidal mother of 3 at Megamound Estate Lekki-Ajah while filming for Omoni’s movie. Crying out for help, she urged Nigerians to help her locate a good suicidal watch mentor and rehab centre for the woman and her kids.
